酸堿是鐵藝護欄的“頭號殺手”.鐵藝護欄上若不慎沾上酸(如硫酸、食醋)、堿(如甲堿、肥皂水、蘇打水)，應立即用清水把污處沖凈，再用干棉布擦干。

5、銹跡

如果鐵藝護欄生了銹，不要自作主張用砂紙打磨。銹跡較小較淺的，可用棉紗蘸機油涂于銹處，稍候片刻，用布揩擦便可銹跡。若銹跡已經擴大變重，則應請有關技術人員來維修。
